I absolutely adore my playstation 3. It is an unbelievable machine with so many fantastic games that have come out of late, not to mention that it plays blu-ray. If they keep on releasing excellent games and adding features like the netflix thing I don’t comprehend why anyone would need any other system.

Clive Barker is truly the master. He has certainly been my main inspiration in going forward with the decision of becoming a writer. Since my first novel, “A Diary of Wasted Years” is out by Eloquent Books, I welcome any potential reader who might like it. If you’re into dark fiction with adept psychological twists and full of the unexpected, you should definitely try it. Comes to grab you by the throat, and certainly worth it.

Bizzarely, there is a website I go on sometimes, called “Coraline.com” This features a spooky kind of gothic house in which you can enter and have a nosy around the rooms. In each room there is something interactive to do…such as one room you can go into and you upload a photo of yourself and mess around with it – such as replacing your eyes with buttons. I wonder if there is any connection between the site and the film? If not, then someone somewhere has breached copyright! Hmmmm.

I read The Late Shift years ago when I was 15 or 16. Literally gave me chills. That whole anthology(Dark Forces) is great, but The Late Shift and The Mist were definitely the cream of that book’s crop.

Hello! Sorry I haven’t been around to comment on your posts. I am busy doing three essays which all have to be in by 15th May and I had a presentation to do. I’m getting through them ok, but basically it means that you have no life for about 3 weeks! lol.

Sorry you have had such an awful/boring/stressful time at work. Its good that you got your stuff sorted out though, and it wasn’t your mistake after all! I just think people in general are more stressed these days, and quick to assume, or jump to the wrong conclusion.

Well done on the Script Frenzy!! I am so pleased for you! needless to say I haven’t started mine – but I had a good storyline. Guess it can wait until next time around. Or maybe I could write it during the summer, seeing as I’m OFF for 6 months. I will be so bored…..lol. Not.

Anyway, good to catch up with you again, and normal service (commenting etc) will resume shortly….

Oh my – no wonder you have been stressed! the extra work because of the computer shutdown thing yesterday, and then the boss wanting a word….I would have been stressed a bit too! Thinking you are getting fired is a wee bit extreme I guess, but I understand why you thought that, if you’re anxiety/stress levels were maxing out! (Gosh thats so American….I hate it when I talk like that…been reading too many US blogs!) I’m assuming (wrongly, perhaps) that things at work are a little bit tense anyway, with the financial climate being what it is?

Anyway – interesting to read that you went to Uni. I kind of guessed that anyway with the way you write. What did you do there? Did you enjoy it? I think with Uni, everyone is there for the same reason, so chances are you would always find someone on your wavelength. The people who didn’t get on with you…well its their loss, really. Chances are you wouldn’t have liked them anyway. People who have curious minds tend to confuse numpty’s! lol (Sorry, I shouldn’t say things like that, its not nice. I am doing Social Work, and I am supposed to be non-judgemental and non discriminatory….ahem. I think I will be the worlds first anti-social social worker though! hehehehe)

I would like to friend you on facebook…..but I understand if you think you see enough of me on here and Twitter! lol. I do tend to have a lot to say for myself sometimes!

I am curious about why you left Facebook. Obviously it was quite upsetting for you, and you don’t have to tell me, but I’m saddened that what should be an enjoyable experience (and fun), can turn out so bad for some people. I worry about girls in particular, they put out so much info on their pages without a thought as to who might be looking. Anyway, I was going to suggest that you might like to try a different user name & email address, if you don’t want to wait two weeks. That way you can start afresh. Entirely up to you of course.

I might nip into town tomorrow and get a couple of those comics you mentioned. I’m curious to see how the films compare to the comic books. We have a Forbidden Planet- would that be a good place to start d’you think? I have been in there before ages ago, when I was interested in drawing Manga cartoons.
